The First day here

I haven't even spent much time back at the house. I got here had some supper and went out with Mike and his friends to the skate park. The skate park is conveniently right beside the camp that I'm going to be working at shortly so now I know how to get there and what it looks like. Everything here is so different! The house is about halfway up a mountain which is awesome and I such a great view from my room. No matter where you look in this little town you see mountains in the near background. After I was at the skate park with Mike and friends we then went to a little convenience store where they just so happen to sell fireworks. It costed me 1,49 euros (just over $2 Canadian) to buy a pack of 100 little firecrackers. Except, they weren't that little. They were about the size of a cigarette and at least 3 times stronger then the little red fire crackers we usually get. So to go blow those up we ventured into the mountains a little bit. We walked down (or up would be the proper term) a skinny path in the forest near the little stream. It was a very nice path although it would've been nice if it were a little more "Kyle friendly" of a path but it was worth the trek. At the end of this short excursion was a waterfall and it was a very nice waterfall too. The water was so clear and so clean. It was good enough to drink straight from the lake, river, or falls. After lighting off a few fireworks we came back and got ready for a welcome home party for the Lassnig's. Apparently I am part of that family because I was also partied for. I didn't stay too long because I am way too tired! good night everybody I'll post again when I get the chance.
