Day 4

Today was by far the most exciting day I've had so far here in Austria. I climbed up a mountain!!! I was driven for the first 1873m which was a VERY rough and bumpy ride. Once we stopped there was a little restaurant that you could go to up there. Once Mike and I finished our drinks we walked the next 1 km up to the top of the mountain. It was an exhausting hike up an incredibly steep slope. Once we finally got to the top it left me speechless! The pictures don't do it justice but they'll have to do. Here they are. These first 7 pictures are all on the way to the restaurant and at the restaurant. And sorry that I wasn't able to get them up yesterday but the internet crashed about 5 minutes before I was able to post this.

This one below me is Mike and this is where most people stop and
write their names in the log book that is up there.
This is me in the same spot as Mike and definitely
my favourite picture so far on this trip.
This picture is just to show how high up we were. There was snow
LOWER
than us and unfortunately none on the mountain that we climbed.
This picture was to show how steep of a slope it is, it's not a very good example but I have a better one coming up. If you look on  the very left side just past the mountain you can see the village that I'm currently living in.
This is just a picture of the mountains. Other than
that it has no significance or meaning.
We decided to climb a little bit higher and on the top left of this mountain is where Mike and I posed for a picture and the cross is somewhere in the middle of all that. I'd describe where it is but I can't see it lol. BUT, I do know that it is at the edge in the middle somewhere.
This picture is just to show how high up we were. And that is not the town I'm living in.
This is a better picture to show how steep it was. Mike was about 30 steps ahead of me.
This again is just to show you the path which is
that brown line and how steep it is.
